Introduction and classification of machining processes. Single point & multipoint cutting tools, Tool geometry & tool materials, Lathe operations such as Turning, Facing, Drilling, Screw cutting, Milling operations, Video on Machining.

Introduction to casting processes, Sand casting & Lost Wax Process.
Welding
Introduction to welding processes, Arc & Gas welding, Welding Equipment.
