Theekshana Dissanayake, an immediate graduate of the department (E/13) has been awarded the bronze medal for best research undergraduate project in Sri Lanka by the Institute of Applied Statistics Srilanka (IASSL). It was awarded for his final year project based work titled “An ensemble learning approach for improving electrocardiogram based human emotion recognition”, which was supervised by Prof. Roshan Ragel . Theekshana’s work has also been recently published in MDPI sensors journal ( Impact Factor 3.031 ).
