A study carried out by department alumni as a part of
their final year project titled “Hybrid Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment for
Computer Games” under the supervision of Prof. Roshan
Ragel and Dr Isuru Nawinne, has been recognised in the international news magazine, QS WoW News.

QS WOW NEWS is a quarterly magazine showcasing higher education providers’ outstanding academic achievements, awards, experiences, partnerships, and developments. Copies are distributed to university presidents around the world as well as all QS events, online, and at selected global industry events.

The group of E/13 students involved in the work are Theekshana Dissanayake, Yasitha Rajapaksha and Heshan Sandeepa. Further work on this project has lead to a publication in the globally recognised journal “MDPI Sensors ( Impact Factor 3.031 ) “. This work also lead to a bronze medal for best research undergraduate project in Sri Lanka by the Institute of Applied Statistics Sri Lanka (IASSL) .
