The annual general meeting of the Association of Computer Engineering Students (ACES) was successfully held on 28th October 2021 with the participation of students and lecturers of the department of Computer Engineering, University of Peradeniya.
Prof. Roshan Ragel writes on the process of converting usual teaching and learning practices into online mode, which became essential as we faced the global pandemic of COVID-19.
Dr Janaka Alwatugoda who is a senior lecturer of the department shared his insights on the leakage resilient cryptography 27th of April 2021 at a foreign event.
The department will be organizing regular department seminars on recent advancements in Computer Engineering including research on the same.
A couple of internally developed web based tools are now available for the department staff and students.
Team CrunchCode was able to emerge as the 2nd runners up at Brainstorm 2019, Sri Lanka's Premier Biomedical Engineering Design Competition, organized by the IEEE EMBS Student Branch Chapter at University of Moratuwa.
Theekshana's work has also been recently published in MDPI sensors journal ( Impact Factor 3.031 ).
Dimuthu was presented with this award at the IESL induction and graduation ceremony on Friday, August 16, 2019
The final round was held under two categories namely retail and insurance in which the undergraduates of the Department of Computer Engineering were able to grab the top places from both categories.
